One knows immediately whether a person owns an acne prone skin or not. Signs are visible as acnes attack mostly on the face. Acne is a condition that is manifested in the skin which may lead to the disfigurement of the face due to scars and blemishes if the case is extreme. But acne is not fatal or deadly. There are several types of acne as well as its causes. For cases where hormones play a major role to the skin condition, medication in the form of pills or topical applications of certain substances may be used. The application can help to control the inflammation as well as eliminate the bacteria that trigger outpeaks. Hygiene also plays a big role in controlling acne. Keeping the skin, especially the facial skin as well as the chest, neck and back parts clean and safe is essential. This can reduce the occurrence of clogged pores and dirt in the skin which can contribute to the condition.

Healing Acne by Knowing Its Causes

While acne is a common skin condition that is not really deadly, it can leave ugly scars and blemishes on the skin especially in severe cases. There are many causes of acne and there are also different types, the most common of which is the so called acne vulgaris. This skin condition is often found in teenagers during puberty although some adults also have this. Since acne can unfortunately bring with it embarrassment and humiliation, especially to teenagers, healing acne, as well as knowing the many causes of acne, is something that should be taken into serious consideration.

Causes of Acne

Acne formation usually occurs when the pores are clogged with excess oil or sebum along with dirt, causing bacterial reactions that lead to inflammation.
