It cleaned your face really well and you could really feel it! But I did not see any differences in my acne.

This stuff is surprisingly good. I was a little skeptical at first because of the cool cucumber-mint feel that I experienced after using it, but it really does a good job. I like to follow up with some oil-free toner, and lotion. It does what it’s supposed to do without drying out the skin.
Makes your face “feel” clean but it sure isn’t

The microbeads which do their job and exfoliate the face are the only thing about this product that is allowing me to give it one star. After you finish washing your face you feel cool and clean, however over the course of using it, your acne will not go down, in fact oil is still on your face because new acne emerges. Reading the label with warnings of “don’t go out in the sun without suntan lotion” makes you think it is powerful, it is far from it. Please avoid this product because it defintely does not do what it claims to do, which is to control acne.
Acne Stress has cleared up my adult acne!!

I’ve been using the Acne Stress Power-Cream Wash (not the scrub) for about 3 weeks now and my skin is the clearest and softest it has been in a long time. I’m 28 years old and suffer from adult acne. It’s not that bad but I almost always have bumps all over my forehead and a few large, red ones on my chin, jaw-line area. I’ve tried countless washes but this is the only one that works for me. Within about 5 days the bumps on my forehead were almost completely gone. And the rest of my face had cleared up completely. I don’t know what makes this wash different than the rest but it is the ONLY one that has made my skin soft and gorgeous. I LOVE IT!!!! I use it with the Neutrogena Pore refining toner (which I must admit I didn’t use a toner before), and the Neutrogena spf 15 moisturizer. I am SO happy with the results that I am no longer afraid to go out without make-up on. I’ll be buying this product forever
Very gentle scrub

I moved to this product from Neutrogena’s Anti-Blackhead scrub when I decided to try the Acne Stress line. I have found the Acne Stress line to be very effective, but it took a while to get accustomed to the gentleness of this “scrub”. It is not as abrasive or as drying as previous scrubs I’ve tried, but my complexion overall looks and feels excellent (with the occasional minor and brief breakout) so I can’t complain. Perhaps I was just inciting oil production and acne with more abrasive and drying scrubs. My one complaint about the product is that the little blue scrubbies inside of it are often left behind in the shower (I use the product nightly in the shower after the power foam) and have to be wiped up.

I think that the other two products in this line (the power foam wash and the 3-in-1 salicylic acid treatment) are excellent and use them every day.
On the other hand, this scrub is awful. It left my skin oily and breaking out, plus the menthol (which doesn’t do anything in skin care products besides “tingle”) irritated my skin.
I use Clean and Clear Blackhead clearing scrub to gently exfoliate instead and am much happier with it.
I know we’re all different, so good luck in finding something that works for you.
Waste of money, water, packaging, and time

This seemed to do absolutely nothing for my skin, and it even left my skin feeling unclean. I couldn’t wait to go back to my tried-and-true St. Ives Apricot Scrub.
Made Acne Worse

I swear this did nothing but irritate my skin, make me feel uncomfortable and MAKE MY ACNE WORSE!!!

Amazing acne scrub

This product is amazing. I have used Neutrogena products for years to help keep my acne under control, and this product takes it to the next level. The exfoliation from the little beads is thorough, and the cool tingle immediately after applying is soothing. I use it every night to wash away the accumulation of dirt and oil from the day. Since I have been using this product, the amount and severity of acne on my face have dropped dramatically. Although it is fairly gentle and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, it is probably a little too abrasive to use more than once a day so I would be careful about overdoing it.
